Ok Alabama is getting a new NBL track in Prattville. Track's name is Fountain City BMX. They are hoping for an opening date sometime in March, man such a short time to do so much! Anyway they are taking suggestions on track layout and jumps. You can contact them through the website, but just because you suggest it does not mean you will get it so be reasonable. They have the full backing of the city and have already gotten a few sponsors as well as someone to build their gate. Metal incased in concrete as the old Lagoon Park track in Montgomery was. Should be cool, can't wait to go check it out. Be sure and volunteer to help their going to need it!

Good luck to everyone going to the Classic. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year!

Well, well, well, we have been picked up by two new sponsors! We are now sponsored by Welham Bikes for frames and components, and we are sponsored by Maxxis for there absolutely wonderful tires. We would like to thank both Maxxis and Welham bikes for giving us this opportunity to support there products and hope that we can get some good finishes this year to support there efforts

I have news concerning the new frame and component company coming out of Alabama. Seems that when Clayborn riders Barry Nobles and John Andrews left it wasn't for another team but to start there own company. Below is a news blurb from there chief financial officer.

The new company is Welham Bikes. We make the highest quality BMX race and jump bike components on the planet. All products are hand-made in the USA. Our first products are Pro (Barry Nobles design) and XL (John Andrews design) race and jump frames due to be available before Christmas. The next products after that will be Mini, Jr. and Cruiser frames available mid Feb. We will also have Jerseys t-shirts hats and other soft-goods available. Bars, Forks and other goodies are also in the works but I’m not sure when they’ll be available. Look for a website to be up soon.

We are starting a Factory Team, The riders we have now are John and Barry with others to be filled in later. Our first race will be Sarasota, Then Dothan and all the Elite Series/UCI races and a few ABA national races.

I can finally let this out. John Andrews and Barry Nobles have left Clayborn Bicycles. I won't spill the beans on who they are riding for unless they tell me I can. I will say that it's about f*****g time they gave him the boot. Congrats John and Barry on the new gig. Hope everything works out for you.

Well Morristown has come and gone, and I must say for our first team race we sucked!! No it wasn’t that bad but unfortunately the only thing that counts are the mains and there we just didn’t perform well. We did get major props from Keith Miller on the announcing though and our jerseys were well liked so overall it was a good weekend. Tom built a great track that was way to easy, even though the rhythm was deep. The dust was pure Hell but I guess that’s to be expected at an indoor event. Clarence, Todd and Andy Besterling all went down this weekend. All are ok and mad as hell. I smell revenge in the air! I hope to have pics up soon and you can see how the team finished below.

The Alabama State Championship was yesterday in Dothan. Wiregrassbmx put on a great race as usual. The track was in excellent shape and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The open race was the moto of the day to watch with the likes of John Andrews, Barry Nobles, Robert Rainey and several people I can't remember. But I must give major props to Taylor Rice for hanging with the big boys. He is only 14! If I spelled anyone's name wrong bite me! By the way HRP made the state plates and they blew the national plates away. Ok on with the team results for the year.
